Barry test drives Bella

2008 Pro-Lite Bella Bike Review as ridden by our very own Barry Parker.

The bike currently being tested is the mid-range Pro-Lite Bella constructed from 7046 alloy tubing with a rear triangle comprising a mix of carbon fibre and alloy. I found the ride quality to be very compliant with plenty of acceleration on the hills of which there are quite a few in Derbyshire where I live. This is due to the Pro-Lite wheel set using deep section Pro-Lite rims, high quality bladed spokes for faster acceleration.

The bike is built on a 2008 Campagnolo Centour group set and in my opinion finishes the bike perfectly. The bike complimented my riding style, it felt balanced and with razor sharp handling - highly recommended.

My first race of the season takes place on 1st March at Darley Moor and I'm looking forward to testing the bike under competition conditions.
